Microsoft Shows Off New Start Screen For Windows Phone 8

A key differentiator in Windows Phone 8 will be an updated start screen, which is an evolution of the current version with customizable tiles for greater personalization. The new start screen still uses the Metro design language and live tiles still live on but WP8 now offers smaller icons in addition to medium and "double wide" tiles.
